The great beach of La Pelosa in Stintino, Sardinia
Accommodation and dinner in Stintino
We found a nice Bed & Breakfast in the center of Stintino and very close to the village port. A clean, spotless double came out for 50 euros with breakfast included. The establishment is called Sul Porto and has a shared kitchen where we met other tourists. Gorgio runs the Bed & Breakfast and I liked him very much. It gave me the feeling that the establishment had opened very recently and had put its decorative taste and all its efforts in the house in recent months in the hope of carrying it forward with the best possible luck.
Even so, I have a bitter memory of this Giorgio. I am sure that after the farewell he had to enjoy the beauty with the bag of rich sausages that I left in the room. I had spent about 50 euros on cheeses and sausages from Corsica ready to ship. I had carried the bag over the last few days and it had to be in the last accommodation where I was going to forget it. I'm sure Giorgio had a good feast when he found my bag with such good Corsican products.
We stroll through the sunset through the quiet port of Stintino. In May, tourists barely see the area and we enjoy the sunset lights until the hunger asked us for a place to dine. We opted for the central Lu Fanali where a good plate of spaghetti with clams quenched the hunger.
Another personal contribution to the endless issue about is the tourist idiot?
In the morning we went to my favorite Mediterranean beach. Definitely, La Pelossa beach in Stintino It is worth appearing in any top 10 when we talk about idyllic beaches. In addition, in May there are hardly any people and one feels in the authentic paradise enjoying its crystalline waters and the perfect composition that the islands, the Asinara peninsula create before your eyes. Even so, La Pelossa is not the only beautiful beach in the area, you can see a good list of Alguero beaches in this article.
