Through a survey among its readers, Lonely Planet has published the name of the 9 most hated cities When we travel. Probably the list will open debates between defenders and detractors of each of the cities mentioned.

  • Detroit, United States:
Pollution, crime and bad infrastructure have been the most criticized factors by Lonely Planet readers.
  • Accra, Ghana:
Ugly, chaotic and uncontrolled are the most descriptive adjectives of this African city.
  • Seoul, South Korea:
People complain about their huge gray communist-style buildings, pollution is indescribable and life is not animated by its streets. I don't know Seoul but I had a very different opinion from other travelers who have visited South Korea.
  • Los Angeles United States:
I imagine that the survey has been mainly conducted by Americans from here the influx of cities from that same country. According to readers Los Angeles has a deplorable pollution in its environment and an unbearable traffic ... I imagine that they have traveled little outside the United States.
  • Wolverhampton, United Kingdom
I do not know this English city near Birmingham but if it is on the list I imagine that there will be some reason to avoid it ...
